Job description

IIQAF is a leading international organization dedicated to promoting and upholding standards of excellence in quality assurance and finance. We are currently seeking a proficient Receiving Clerk to join our team and support the efficient operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from suppliers, verifying quantity and quality of products
  • Ensure accuracy of all incoming deliveries by cross-checking with purchase orders and packing lists
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments into the organization s inventory system
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies in shipments
  • Label and tag received items and ensure proper storage in designated locations
  • Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule outgoing shipments
  • Maintain and update records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to the appropriate departments
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures relating to receiving and inventory management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and record information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and finance principles is an asset
