Job Description

Reporting to the Cost Controller, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing professional, engaging, and friendly service consistently.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to fulfill all responsibilities.
  • Adhering to all local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Working in a safe, organized, and prudent manner.
  • Receiving goods, verifying against purchase orders for quantity, quality, and expiry date.
  • Inspecting received items for condition, count, weight, and quality before storage.
  • Handling over/short supplies, incorrect pricing, and adjusting invoices accordingly.
  • Completing daily receiving reports for F&B and general items and submitting to accounts payable.
  • Maintaining an updated file of purchase orders with delivery status.
  • Receiving deliveries at designated areas only.
  • Stamping, dating, and signing invoices with relevant department approval.
  • Recording all FOC items received and sending copies to the Cost Controller.
  • Attaching FMC receiving reports with each invoice.
  • Following HACCP points and hygiene standards during receiving.
  • Collaborating closely with store, accounts payable, and purchasing departments.
  • Assisting with inventories and other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Chief Accountant.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Aspects of Position

  • Constant standing and walking during shifts.
