Alef Group in Sharjah invites an experienced Accountant (Receivables) to join our finance team. You will manage daily accounting activities, reconcile AR sub-ledger with GL, and process invoices and collections within MD AX ERP.

Key duties include reviewing client accounts, posting journal entries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT, and supporting CFO with reports and reconciliations in a fast‑paced real estate environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration is mandatory.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) are an added advantage.
Knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations is essential.

Responsabilités

Reconcile Accounts Receivable sub-ledger with the General Ledger to ensure accurate posting of bank collections.
Collaborate with AR team to review client accounts and payments; coordinate with collections as needed.
Prepare invoices, send payment reminders, and liaise with sales for collections.
Update and record daily collections across all payment modes in MD AX ERP; verify accuracy.
Reconcile and verify customer statements and balances; resolve discrepancies.
Post and process journal entries; ensure proper recording of business transactions.
Maintain accounting controls in line with company policies and compliance.
Preserve historical records by filing hardcopy and digital documents.
Support data entry, reporting, and reconciliations across systems as needed.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the CFO.
