Job summary

SHANDONG TAIJIAN INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTI in Dubai seeks an experienced Rebar Foreman to lead and supervise on-site steel reinforcement crews. You will read structural drawings, prepare bar bending schedules, and set out rebar for footings, columns, beams, slabs, walls and stairs.

You will check lap lengths, anchorage, cover and spacings, coordinate with shuttering teams, supervise safety, carry out daily quality checks, and plan material requisitions to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a steel fixer / rebar foreman in building construction.
• Ability to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules independently.
• Knowledge of rebar grades, lap lengths, anchorage and code requirements.
• Basic English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on-site steel reinforcement crews.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and BBS.
• Set out rebar for footings, columns, beams, slabs, walls and staircases.
• Check lap lengths, anchorage, cover and spacing; finalize before formwork.
• Coordinate with shuttering carpentry teams to sequence inspections.
• Conduct daily quality checks and prepare for consultant rebar inspections.
• Plan material requisitions and coordinate with store on site stock.
• Enforce site safety rules and PPE usage; ensure safe work practices.

Lead and supervise steel reinforcement rebar fixing crews on site Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules BBS check cutting and bending lists before work starts Set out rebar for footings columns beams slabs walls and staircases control lap lengths anchorage spacing and concrete cover Coordinate with shuttering carpentry teams to sequence rebar inspection before formwork closing Conduct daily quality checks and prepare for consultant engineer rebar inspections IRs rectify snags before inspection Plan material requisitions rebar by diameter and grade coordinate with the store on site steel stock and control wastage Manage daily labor deployment progress reporting and enforce site safety rules PPE rebar safety caps working at height Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a steel fixer / rebar foreman in the building construction industry Candidates currently in Dubai / UAE preferred; previous work experience in Dubai or within the UAE is a strong advantage Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules independently Good knowledge of rebar grades, lap lengths, anchorage and code requirements Basic English communication (written and spoken) Ready to join immediately
