Job summary

Rosefilda Construction LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled steel fixer to install reinforcement bars, cut and bend rebar, and ensure correct spacing and lap lengths according to approved drawings and site requirements.

You will coordinate with the foreman for formwork and concrete pours, ensure bar ends are capped, and maintain safety on site; relocation and accommodation are provided; immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; basic technical/trade training in plumbing, pipe fitting, or steel fixing preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a steel fixer in civil/infrastructure.
• Experience reading and working from reinforcement/structural drawings required for steel fixing roles.
• Experience with sewerage/drainage systems or small-scale concrete structures (manholes, chambers, slabs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Steel fixing works: cutting, bending, and fixing reinforcement bars as per drawings.
• Install rebar spacers, chairs, and ensure correct cover spacing and lap lengths.
• Coordinate with Foreman for formwork placement and timing of concrete pours.
• Ensure rebar is free of rust, oil, or contamination before placement.
• Cap exposed rebar ends to prevent injury hazards on site.
