About the RWA & Tokenization Business Team

This business vertical is set up to explore & initiate opportunities in RWA space, whilst keeping in mind evolution of EMURGO's current suite of products (integrations), to create a frontier RWA & Tokenization business vertical with multiple high-yield RWA products that thrives during bear market & next bull market.

The vertical will deal with Private Credit, Green Energy and illiquid asset tokenization, as well as high yield products in the space.

Role Summary

Reporting to the RWA Business General Manager. This is a hunter role targeting RWA high-yield products and deals with institutions, organizations, and high-net-worth clients to increase AUM of those products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire institutional investors, crypto treasuries, organizations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) for RWA-yielding products.
  • Proactive Business Development: Act as a hunter, proactively identifying and engaging with new prospects to increase AUM (Assets Under Management).
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, family offices, asset managers, and corporate treasuries, driving adoption of RWA investment opportunities.
  • Product Structuring & Pitching: Pitch and structure tokenized RWA products, including but not limited to private credit, real estate, trade finance, treasury bills, commodities, and infrastructure-backed assets.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Navigate complex institutional sales cycles, leading end-to-end deal execution from initial outreach to closing.
  • Investor Education & Consultation: Educate potential investors on the benefits of blockchain-based RWA investments, aligning with their risk appetite and return expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, legal, compliance, and marketing teams) to tailor offerings to market demand and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the RWA space, identifying emerging opportunities.
  • Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings to enhance brand visibility and attract institutional capital.
  • Customer success: Provide ongoing client support and relationship management to drive repeat investments and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Assets (crypto) and institutional sales, with a strong track record in business development and capital raising.
  • Deep understanding of tokenized real-world assets (RWA), traditional financial markets, and blockchain-based investment vehicles.
  • Established network of institutional investors, family offices, and corporate finance decision-makers.
  • Experience structuring yield-generating investment products (e.g., private credit, debt instruments, securitization deals).
  • Decent understanding of regulatory frameworks surrounding RWAs and digital asset investments.
  • Proven ability to drive AUM growth, meet aggressive sales targets, and close large-scale deals.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage business unit.
