We’re looking for a Real-Time AI Media Engineer to join a technology business building advanced AI-powered products in Dubai.
This is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of AI, real-time audio/video, streaming and high-performance backend engineering.
You’ll be working on latency-sensitive, user-facing AI products where responsiveness, synchronization and reliability really matter.
Build and integrate real-time media and AI capabilities into production products
Work with real-time audio, video, speech and streaming technologies
Integrate AI inference into latency-sensitive applications
Improve audio/video synchronization, responsiveness and reliability
Build asynchronous pipelines capable of handling load, interruptions and failures
Profile AI inference, GPU and media-processing workloads
Optimize latency, throughput, memory usage and infrastructure cost
Build automated testing, tracing and diagnostics
Troubleshoot complex issues across backend, client and media-processing systems
Strong experience with:
Python
Real-time audio/video, streaming or speech systems
Asynchronous and concurrent systems
APIs and service integration
AI/ML inference
Performance profiling and optimization
Production testing, tracing and diagnostics
Experience with technologies or areas such as WebRTC, browser media APIs, GPU inference, speech systems, ML model serving or interactive avatar technologies would be particularly interesting.
You don’t need to tick every box. We’re interested in engineers who are technically curious, enjoy solving difficult performance problems and are comfortable working across different parts of a system to make the overall product work reliably.
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants to work where real-time engineering meets production AI.
