The role focuses on store acquisitions, lease renewals and portfolio performance for fashion, home and lifestyle brands, with an emphasis on delivering circa 14–15 openings per year and strong stakeholder management. Travel regionally as required and collaborate with finance, legal and brand teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in site sourcing, lease negotiations and retail network expansion in the UAE.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related discipline.

We are advising a leading regional retail group on the appointment of a UAE National Real Estate Manager to support the expansion and optimisation of its retail portfolio across the UAE and wider region.

This is a manager-level role within the in-house real estate function, focused on store acquisitions, lease renewals, and portfolio performance across fashion, home and lifestyle brands.

The Role

• Support delivery of the annual store opening programme, targeting approximately 14 to 15 new locations per year.
• Identify and evaluate new retail sites, assessing location quality, commercial viability and brand fit.
• Lead and support lease negotiations and renewals with major mall operators and landlords.
• Prepare site business cases and secure internal approvals across finance, legal and brand stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to optimisation decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National is mandatory for this role.
• You must currently be working within a retailer or mall management environment with direct exposure to retail store leasing and expansion. Candidates from third party real estate consultancies without in house retail experience will not be considered.
• Demonstrable experience in site sourcing, lease negotiations and retail network expansion within the UAE market.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to manage cross functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related discipline is required.
