We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and results-oriented Real Estate Development Director to lead property development initiatives from initial concept and feasibility assessment through planning, execution, and project delivery. This role is responsible for identifying investment opportunities, evaluating development potential, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that projects align with the organization’s business objectives and financial targets.
The Director will oversee the development pipeline, assess potential sites and properties, and evaluate opportunities across residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and other real estate sectors. Responsibilities include reviewing market conditions, analyzing development proposals, assessing project feasibility, and preparing recommendations to support investment and acquisition decisions.
The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, planning authorities, legal advisers, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will help establish project objectives, define development strategies, monitor budgets and schedules, and ensure that projects progress in accordance with approved plans and quality expectations.
Financial and commercial oversight is a key component of the position. The Director will contribute to development budgets, financial projections, cash-flow assessments, cost planning, return-on-investment analysis, and risk evaluations. By reviewing project performance and market trends, the role will identify opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs, and maximize long-term asset value.
The position will also support land acquisition, property negotiations, investment structuring, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships where appropriate. Maintaining strong relationships with investors, landowners, financial institutions, government representatives, and business partners will be important for securing opportunities and supporting successful project outcomes.
The Director will monitor planning requirements, construction progress, contractual obligations, and relevant regulatory considerations. Close coordination with internal teams and external advisers will help address project risks, resolve development challenges, and maintain appropriate governance throughout each stage of delivery.
In addition, the role will lead development teams, establish performance priorities, review project milestones, and provide regular updates to senior management. Strong leadership, commercial judgment, and the ability to balance design quality, financial performance, market demand, and operational feasibility are essential.
