A luxury hotel chain in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a Guest Service Associate to greet guests, manage special requests, and support the housekeeping team. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a high school diploma. Ideal candidates will excel in a luxury service environment and be dedicated to guest satisfaction.
Greet guests upon arrival and explain details and amenities available. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services, such as unpacking, dry cleaning, pressing garments, shoeshine, reservations, and transportation, by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction with special requests and needs. Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and local area amenities, including events and activities. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Inspect guest rooms post-cleaning to ensure quality standards are met. Verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update room status. Assist management in daily activities of the housekeeping department. Document and resolve issues related to room discrepancies with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets or work boards. Communicate issues to the next shift. Complete required paperwork. Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching staff.
Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist guests with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive working relationships; listen and respond to colleagues' concerns. Maintain standards of quality and service. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
