POSITION SUMMARY

Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Coordinate with, monitor, and supervise outside vendors to resolve large-scale engineering problems (e.g., A/C, internet, telephone issues). Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading and editing to ensure accuracy and completeness. Order items by filling out requisitions, obtaining manager approval, and using appropriate vendors. Communicate with customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues. Coordinate with other employees and departments using telecommunications devices to respond to requests and resolve maintenance issues. Assist local authorities with emergencies and natural disasters. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and protect company assets. Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, answer telephones courteously, develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
