A leading company seeks Recreation Attendants to enhance guest experiences at their facility. This role involves encouraging participation in various activities, ensuring safety, and providing exceptional guest service. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma with certifications in CPR and First Aid, and excellent communication skills.
POSITION SUMMARY
Encourage guests to register and schedule participation in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observe activities in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in case of an emergency. Be aware of situations where guests may not participate safely and inform a supervisor or manager. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones appropriately. Develop positive work relationships; support team goals. Process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales. Ensure quality standards are met. Read and verify information in various formats. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Use computers and point-of-sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds unaided; objects over 50 pounds with assistance. Handle objects requiring fine motor skills. Navigate narrow or elevated spaces; move over uneven surfaces and stairs. Reach overhead and below knees; bend, twist, and stoop. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: None required.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Recreation Equipment certification, and any other certifications required by local and state agencies.
