Job summary

Velora Aviation is seeking an Equipment Operator (Pushback) to support ramp operations in the Abu Dhabi area. The role involves operating Ground Service Equipment, handling pushback procedures, and assisting with aircraft turnaround while ensuring safety and compliance with Velora and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include cargo handling, equipment checks, reporting anomalies, and clear communication with flight crews and ground teams.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Driver’s License is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as an Equipment Operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate Ground Service Equipment as trained to operate.
• Check cargo holds and surrounding areas for abnormalities or missing/damaged parts.
• Perform basic GSE checks and follow SOPs for safe, secure operations.
• Comply with UAE laws and Velora Airlines procedures on safety, security and operations.
• Report safety, security, service occurrences and near misses using established procedures.
• Follow procedures including use of handheld devices while on shift.
• Assist with loading and unloading baggage and cargo.
• Communicate with flight crew and ground teams during pushback operations, towing aircraft and equipment.
