Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a highly qualified Resident Engineer to manage and supervise residential and high-rise building projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The on-site engineer will ensure design, quality, and construction objectives meet contractual and RA K authority requirements.

Candidates must have 10+ years UAE experience with proven RA K Resident Engineer background, and strong knowledge of RA Municipality and Civil Defence regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in site supervision of residential and high-rise building projects.
• Mandatory: Proven experience as a Resident Engineer on projects in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).
• Strong knowledge of Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, RAK Civil Defence, and other relevant RAK authority regulations and approval procedures.
• UAE Society of Engineers membership is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, site supervision, quality control, and technical standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure project milestones are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, design intent, and specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client, contractor, and consultancy office team.
• Ensure full compliance with Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, RAK Civil Defence, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Review and approve the contractor's shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and cost control on site.
• Lead site meetings, issue site instructions, and provide technical guidance to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, QS, and Contracts teams to resolve technical and contractual issues proactively.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and updates to management and the client.
