Designation: Radiography Technician (Non-destructive Testing)
Reports to: Operations Coordinator and Operations Lead
Job Objective:
- To support the operation department with a designated NDT scope of work as per the company's requirement
- To maintain health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Follow approved NDT test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions as per project requirements and company policy.
- Carry out Radiography inspection as per client/code/standard/SSI Procedure.
- Interpret industrial codes, standards, and specifications. Document and report results in a proper manner with the company's reporting system.
- Follow the operation and job instructions as per practice.
- Interpret the Radiography films after processing and report to operations.
- Carry out MT/PT/Hardness test as per the operations requirement when required, after necessary training.
- RPO certification will be an added advantage.
- Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports.
- Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after completion.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises.
- Always follow the safety and FANR rules during performing the jobs at the site.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Experience with Radiography equipment.
Ability & Skills:
- Good communication skills in English, written and verbal (Mandatory requirement).
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience as a qualified and certified ASNT Level II NDT technician.
Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum Higher Secondary School.
- ASNT Level II Radiography experience certificate (Mandatory requirement).
