Job summary

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our healthcare team in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will perform routine radiographic procedures independently, adhering to departmental policies and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, minimizing radiation exposure, documenting imaging records, and assisting in complex examinations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field.
• Minimum of two years' post-qualification radiology experience.
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection techniques and imaging protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of radiographic examinations to produce high-quality images.
• Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures while considering their needs.
• Minimize radiation exposure through best practices in protection.
• Ensure accurate documentation of imaging IDs and patient records.
• Assist in complex radiological examinations under supervision.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment and manage inventory.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and emergency protocols.
• Provide clear explanations to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
