Job summary

Al Tariq seeks a Radar Systems Engineer in the UAE to lead advanced radar design and validation for defense applications. You will drive architecture, signal processing, and RF/antenna specifications, with lab and field testing.

The role requires 5+ years in radar engineering, hands-on radar test equipment, and modelling in Matlab/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST, in regulated MIL-STD environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support customer technical engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in radar system engineering/design.
• Experience in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with radar test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Modeling tools include Matlab/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST.

Responsibilities

• Lead radar system design activities including architecture definition (Pulsed, FMCW, AESA), signal processing, RF/antenna specs.
• Perform system modelling and performance analysis using Matlab/Simulink, Python or radar simulation tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency and MIL-STD compliance.
• Execute hardware/software integration, testing and qualification in lab and field environments.
