Job summary

Pulse Nova in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Radar Integration & Field Engineer to lead on-site installation, integration, commissioning, testing, and field support of advanced radar and associated EW, C2, and equipment.

You will coordinate site readiness, configure equipment per ICDs and drawings, perform startup, alignment, calibration, and SATs, and provide operator training while supporting maintenance and field reporting across customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on installation, integration, or field support experience in radar or defense systems.
• Strong ability to read ICDs, drawings, and installation procedures; capable of troubleshooting complex interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out on-site installation, integration, commissioning, and technical support of NEMUS radar, electronic warfare (EW), C2, and associated equipment.
• Verify site and platform readiness, including mounting arrangements, power supply, grounding, cooling, cabling, and network connectivity.
• Integrate and configure equipment in accordance with approved drawings, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and installation procedures.
• Perform system startup, configuration, alignment, calibration, and functional verification in coordination with the engineering team.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and interface issues, coordinating corrective actions with specialist engineers and technology partners.
• Prepare and execute field test procedures and support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), demonstrations, and customer trials.
• Coordinate field technicians and installation subcontractors during deployment, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, including fault isolation and verification of restored system operation.
• Provide practical operator and maintainer training and support the transfer of technical knowledge to local teams.
• Prepare field reports, installation records, test results, fault reports, and as-built documentation

As a Radar Integration & Field Engineer at Pulse Nova, you will play a critical role in bringing advanced radar systems into operational service. Working at the interface of engineering and deployment, you will lead integration, commissioning, testing, and field support activities across factory, customer, and operational environments. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong troubleshooting capabilities and a deep understanding of complex radar systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in installation, integration, commissioning, or field support of radar, RF, defence electronics, or comparable complex systems.
• Practical understanding of system interfaces, electronic equipment, and structured troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret installation drawings, wiring diagrams, ICDs, and technical manuals.
• Working knowledge of power distribution, grounding, cabling, and Ethernet/IP networks.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows/Linux-based equipment and networked systems.
• Familiarity with electronic and RF test instruments.
