Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with significant experience in post-contract functions. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years in the field, able to handle financial statements, manage contractor payments, and possess UAE Authority approvals. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in construction software. This position offers opportunities to work on major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years experience for Quantity Surveyors.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience for QS with UAE Authority approvals MRICS.
  • Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of major projects.
  • Relevant work experience in quantity surveying with expertise in cost estimating and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Handle post-contract functions including payments and contractual correspondence.
  • Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Advise on contractors resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
  • Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.

Handle post-contract functions including interim and final payments variations cash flows claims and contractual correspondence. Conversant with CESSM. Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met. Advise on contractors resource allocation and audit contractor payments. Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations. Record and check measurements of work completed. Prepare variations and day-works. Monitor and update the final cost estimate for the contract. Maintain and track expenditure records. Review negotiate and prepare claim settlements. Coordinate and monitor the activities of the team. Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
