Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE International) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy.
• Experience in the Middle East region is essential.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX) and MS Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients, contractors, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract commercial activities on developer-led projects from award to final account.
• Monitor and control project costs, including cost-to-complete and cashflow forecasts.
• Assess, negotiate, and agree variations, claims, and change events.
• Prepare monthly cost reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial and cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value.
• Administer interim payments, valuations, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to support project delivery.
