We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, UAE. The Quantity Surveyor will manage all aspects of the cost, contract, and financial control of large-scale construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking and that costs stay within budget.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with extensive experience in Post Contract Management, particularly on large-scale Landscape Projects.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and controlling the project budget, providing regular cost reports to clients and project teams, and ensuring delivery within the approved budget and expectations.
  • Overseeing procurement document preparation, tendering, and contractor selection, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget.
  • Implementing and managing FIDIC contracts, reviewing contract conditions, managing variations, and ensuring compliance. Handling disputes, claims, and negotiations.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing costs related to construction methods, resources, and schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, cost reports, payments, and claims, and preparing periodic reports for management and clients.
  • Assessing, evaluating, and negotiating project changes and variations, managing their impact on budget and timelines.
  • Identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize overruns and delays.
  • Participating in value engineering to find cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants, providing advice on cost-related issues, and acting as the primary contact for financial and contractual matters.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-contract management experience within a consultancy environment. A Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, with MRICS or equivalent chartership, is highly desirable.
