Job Description

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from design drawings, specifications, and site requirements
• Analyze project requirements and generate cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracting
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and cost plans
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to get competitive pricing
• Perform cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and procurement to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor project progress, prepare interim payment applications, and handle variation claims
• Support post-contract functions, including final account preparation
• Maintain records of project costing and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, local regulations, and HSE standards

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in fit-out or joinery estimation

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, PlanSwift)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
