Job summary

Linea Projects is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to join our Dubai team. You will manage project costs, prepare valuations, administer contracts, and maintain commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties include cost estimation, BOQ preparation, cost reporting, and liaison with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors. UAE-based candidates available to join immediately are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years of civil construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, billing and contract administration.
• Experience with variations, claims and cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and QS software.
• Knowledge of UAE-based contracting practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Prepare and verify interim valuations, payment certificates, and subcontractor bills.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records.
• Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and subcontract administration.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
