Job summary

NSR Associates’ client in Dubai is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. You will manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow across the project lifecycle.

You will measure, value, and certify subcontractor payments, prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts, and provide regular financial reporting to management. UAE/GCC fit-out experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

They are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Measure, value, and certify subcontractor and supplier payments while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare and submit client valuations, variation claims, and final accounts in a timely manner.
• Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and opportunities, and provide regular financial reporting to management.
• Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and site personnel to maintain cost control and maximise project profitability.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE/GCC fit-out, interiors, or construction sector.
• Strong understanding of cost management, valuations, variations, procurement, and final account negotiations.
• Experience working on high-end fit-out projects within hospitality, commercial, retail, or residential sectors.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract administration, and commercial reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
