Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Supervision team in Dubai. You will support commercial management on projects, handling cost control, contract administration, valuations, and reporting to ensure commercial success.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in QS/CE/CM, 7–10 years of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost reporting. UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in QS/Commercial roles.
• Bachelor's degree in QS/CM/CE.
• Experience with measurements, valuations, and cost reporting.
• Familiar with UAE or GCC practices and FIDIC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Measure and value construction works for payment certification.
• Review contractor applications for payment.
• Assist in evaluating variations and contractual claims.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial summaries.
• Maintain records of site instructions, variation orders, and commercial correspondence.
• Support the preparation of final accounts.
• Review Bills of Quantities and contract documentation.
• Participate in site inspections and commercial meetings.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Assist senior commercial staff with contract administration duties.
