Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in infrastructure and road projects to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects through accurate cost estimation budgeting and contract management.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and road projects
  • Develop and manage project budgets forecasting costs throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analyze contract documents and prepare tender packages
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare bills of quantities
  • Monitor project costs and report on variances
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports for project stakeholders
  • Assess and value variations and claims
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to optimize project costs
  • Stay updated on local construction regulations and standards in the UAE

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
  • Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS AACE)
  • Minimum 10years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure and road projects
  • Experience working in the Middle East preferably in the UAE
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Causeway)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Indepth knowledge of infrastructure and road construction processes
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the UAE
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problemsolving and negotiation skills
