Job description

A leading global quantitative investment firm is expanding its Dubai office and is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join one of its high-performing trading desks. This is an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of data, research, and technology with direct impact on trading outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Join a collaborative, tech-first trading team where your work directly supports investment decisions.
  • Build tools, infrastructure, and analytics used by researchers and traders in real time.
  • Work with diverse datasets from index and M&A data to proprietary risk models and help manage and scale high-dimensional data environments.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with autonomy and ownership.
Your Background:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern data libraries (e.g., numpy, pandas, polars, dask).
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of systems-level fundamentals (CPU, memory, OS, networking).
  • Comfortable owning projects end-to-end from concept to delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in quantitative trading environments (0-2 years) is desirable.
  • Interest or exposure to financial markets is a plus.
