Job summary

Al Alamia Veterinary Medicine Manufacturer is seeking a QC Analyst to perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products against BP/USP/EP and in-house specs. You will use HPLC, UV-Vis, and other QC instruments, and prepare analytical reports and CoAs.

The role requires 3–5 years in GMP pharmaceutical QC, strong knowledge of pharmacopoeial testing, and excellent written and spoken English. UAE-based candidates are preferred and a start date within four weeks is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related science field (required).
• 3-5 years of QC experience in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory (required).
• Hands-on HPLC experience preferred (method running, system suitability, troubleshooting).
• Good knowledge of pharmacopoeial testing (BP/USP/EP) and GMP documentation.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Available to join within 4 weeks.
• Candidates already in the UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples and finished products against BP/USP/EP and in-house specifications.
• Water system testing: collect daily purified water samples, test conductivity/TOC/pH, collect microbiological samples and report excursions.

Testing Analysis Test raw materials packaging materials in-process samples and finished products against BP USP EP and in-house specifications Perform analyses using HPLC UV-Vis Karl Fischer dissolution disintegration pH and other routine QC instruments Conduct stability studies and maintain stability records Prepare and review analytical reports and Certificates of Analysis CoA

Water System Testing Collect daily samples of purified water from user points and the distribution loop Test conductivity TOC pH and other chemical parameters per pharmacopoeia Collect microbiological samples and coordinate with micro testing Track water results trend data and report any excursions immediately

Daily Lab Operations Perform daily instrument checks balance verification pH meter calibration HPLC system suitability Record and monitor lab temperature humidity and fridge incubator logs Receive log and store samples maintain retention samples Prepare and label reagents volumetric solutions and mobile phases Manage reference standards chemicals inventory and expiry control Maintain lab cleanliness glassware control and safe chemical waste disposal Keep all logbooks and records complete and accurate daily ALCOA

Quality Support Support OOS OOT investigations deviations and CAPA Support method validation verification and regulatory submission data Participate in internal audits and PIC S readiness activities
