Job description

The Quality Operations Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the local GeoMarket personnel to ensure the best service quality to customers.

  • Support the field through real-time monitoring of jobs from the Operations Support Center.

  • Organize and participate in peer assist and peer reviews of jobs in the field locations; solicit support from experts.

  • Create and update Quality standards and procedures to meet the Product Line's expectations and requirements at the GeoMarket level.

  • Participate in Compliance Audits and support development of the location's remedial work plans.

  • Provide technical support to field locations through interactive mentoring and training.

  • Promote service quality in the field locations. Monitor compliance with Product Line standards to maintain high levels of service quality.

  • Exhibit leadership in the failure review process as per company and Product Line standards.

  • Act as Help Desk Engineer and ensure 24/7 support through InTouch.

  • Establish and maintain a close relation with technology center Engineering groups to ensure that they are kept abreast of the current status of any new product, policies or procedures relating to the Product Lines in scope.

  • Ensure that all Schlumberger Quality and Health, Safety and Environment policies as well as all Product Line policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Follow up on deficiency related cases to ensure that problems are addressed and that suitable resources are implemented to rectify defects in design or documentation.

Bachelors degree with previous experience
