Key Responsibilities :

  • Producing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
  • Assist in the approval process of all materials and products for the project.
  • Develop quality forms and checklists to facilitate the quality of all construction works including concrete works, civil, and pipeline construction.
  • Develop a system to ensure timely approval by the client of work stages on site to ensure works remain on programme.
  • Management of test results and issuing to relevant parties.
  • Management of the materials testing subcontractors.
  • Liaising with the designers, client, and client's representatives including the construction engineer in all aspects of quality of works.
  • Assist in reviewing designs as they develop from concept through to detail design to ensure designs can be constructed to the required quality requirements.
  • Working with project management and engineering staff to improve the quality of work on site. Suggest possible improvements on daily activities to ensure that production is maximised whilst ensuring quality is maintained at the highest level.
  • Proactive approach to and management of nonconformance issues.

Requirements :

  • Education : A Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management or a related field is typically required. Advanced certifications in project management can be advantageous.
  • Experience : Extensive experience (10 years) in residential projects is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of the residential developments including its regulations, best practices, and emerging trends within Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience of producing and meeting requirements of Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Excellent record keeping and data management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to discuss technical aspects with other technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Good understanding of Quality within the Design Process.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Experience of large complex construction projects (low rise residential / villas).
