The Quality Officer ensures all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities comply with project quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring quality processes, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement to ensure high-quality project execution.
Ensure EPC activities align with company quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations (ISO 9001, ASME, API, etc.).
Assist in developing and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and policies.
Support project teams in maintaining compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Identify areas for quality improvement and suggest process enhancements.
Conduct training sessions on quality procedures and best practices for EPC teams.
Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
Assist in preparing quality documentation for client approvals.
Support audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
Report non-conformances, follow up on corrective and preventive actions (NCRs & CAPA).
Conduct inspections and audits on materials, fabrication, welding, painting, and other construction activities, verifying compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
