Job description

Our client is one of the premier suppliers of industrial group and delivering the highest quality of products and services in the sector. Due to new opportunities, they are currently looking for a; ‘Quality Manager’.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that safety procedures are followed by his / her team.
  • Develop and execute quality strategies aligned with regional and global strategies.
  • Determine the quality policy and quality targets, ensuring all employees adopt these targets.
  • Guide quality and technical activities within the business to assure product integrity through all manufacturing stages.
  • Review and sign off on master production, process validation, and cleaning validation documentation.
  • Establish quality systems and standards to achieve regulatory compliance and good manufacturing practices, anticipating customer needs.
  • Approve the rejection, acceptance, or conditional acceptance of materials and products at input, process, and final stages.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues, determine root causes, and implement quality resolutions.
  • Create a proactive approach for process improvement, sustain continuous improvement, and establish standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Report critical quality issues to management using the Global Quality alert process.
  • Manage the disposition of Finished Products, Raw Materials, and Components when required.
  • Mitigate risks associated with company systems and products.
  • Manage and execute PPAP and advanced quality planning processes.
  • Lead and manage the team to maximize their value contribution and ensure competence within the quality and technical functions.
  • Maintain quality and technical relationships with suppliers and customers, lead customer complaints process, and perform supplier audits.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality Management System documents, conduct internal audits.
  • Determine calibration needs of equipment, oversee calibration, and keep records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, ISO, and OHSAS standards through planning and internal audits.
  • Deliver regular reports and KPI performance monitoring.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Engineering; Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and multi-project management experience.
  • Result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt to change.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to partner with peers and senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP QM module is a plus.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems auditing, deviation management, and risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
  • Knowledge of mining manufacturing equipment, processes, and testing methods is advantageous.
  • Six Sigma knowledge is a plus; Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.
