Job summary

A telecom company in Dubai is looking for a QA Manager to develop and maintain QA policies for telecom operations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, 7-10 years of experience in QA, and familiarity with telecom QA tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with team management experience are essential for this role.

Job description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA policies and procedures for telecom operations and services.
  • Lead end-to-end quality audits of network performance, installations, customer service processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and monitor quality metrics (e.g., SLA adherence, network downtime, customer satisfaction, fault resolution).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (network engineering, customer service, field operations) to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and develop corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Oversee performance testing, acceptance testing, and service assurance protocols for new rollouts and upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to telecom regulatory standards (e.g., TDRA, ISO standards).
  • Lead internal training on quality frameworks and continuous improvement methods (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Manage a team of QA analysts and engineers, ensuring effective project execution and team development.
  • Report on QA performance to senior management with actionable insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in telecom quality assurance or network operations.
  • Proven experience with telecom QA tools and methodologies (e.g., OSS/BSS, drive testing tools, service monitoring platforms).
  • Solid understanding of telecom technologies
