Quality – Lab Technician (Readygips) - Ras Al Khaimah

What you’ll be doing :

As a Quality Lab Technician for Readygips, your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing product quality, maintaining ISO documentation, and preparing quality reports. You will conduct lab tests to meet international and company standards, manage raw material quality control, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

You will also organize and store chemicals safely, plan and monitor product trials, analyze competitor products, support Continuous Improvement initiatives, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety standards.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Updating daily shift reports in Excel for each product.
  • Sampling and analyzing the final product's quality parameters.
  • Completing necessary ISO documentation and reporting quality issues.
  • Preparing monthly reports on calcination quality parameters and Readygips.
  • Preparing daily calcination quality reports.
  • Managing laboratory inventory and informing the line manager of supply needs 8 weeks in advance.
  • Organizing and storing chemicals/additives per safety instructions.
  • Recording data and results from trials and experiments.
  • Planning and monitoring product trials.
  • Controlling raw materials according to quality standards.
  • Ensuring cleaning processes during product change or shutdown.
  • Calibrating and verifying equipment/tools regularly.
  • Performing lab tests such as bacterial tests, crack resistance, abrasion, etc., to meet standards.
  • Analyzing and reporting on competitor products.
  • Conducting drop tests for liquid additives after new line start-up.
  • Monitoring equipment for safe and efficient operation.
  • Participating in CI meetings and initiatives.
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members and other departments.
  • Keeping tools and records organized and workspace clean.
  • Recording quality data on ISO forms and updating procedures accordingly.
