Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Abu Dhabi offers a hands-on QC role within the manufacturing quality team. You will support inspection activities, document results, and learn SAP-based record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect TechnipFMC products from plant and vendors.
• Perform QC inspection during manufacturing per DBI (quality standards).
• Maintain MRBs and SAP records with accurate documentation.
• Ensure inspections and reports are uploaded to servers and retrievable.
• Interpret drawings to verify components match specifications.
• Suggest process improvements for quality control.

Job Purpose

Ability to

• inspect TechnipFMC products received from other TechnipFMC plant and vendors,
• Perform QC Inspection during manufacturing process as per the DBI.

Job Description

• Ensure correctness and completeness of all Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) before storage.
• Maintain accurate SAP records post-QC operations, including nonconformance entries.
• Ensure inspection outcomes are properly documented and uploaded to the server.
• Ensure stage inspections are completed as per job requirements (e.g., NDT, hardness, coating).
• Maintain traceability and integrity of quality documentation (MTCs, supplier records, MRBs).
• Maintain calibration records in the system.
• Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to production processes.
• Retrieve MRBs and verify their accuracy before storing.
• Perform SAP transactions after QC operations.
• Complete detailed inspection reports and performance records uploads into the system.
• Compile and upload reports to the server.
• Compile and upload Calibration Records to the server.
• Interpret machine drawings and compare them with actual components.
• Assist TPI at internal facilities.
• Recommend process improvements for quality control.
• Review customer quality requirements and seek clarifications/exceptions when needed.

  • Previously have done internships in oil and gas or manufacturing companies.
