Job Title: Quality Inspector (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support a key aircraft seating project. In this role, you will manage inspection activities and collaborate with various stakeholders including project managers, vendors, and subcontractors. You will also support the quality team with transition and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main quality contact for assigned projects.
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products according to specifications and drawings.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections of components and materials.
  • Check aircraft components for compliance and airworthiness.
  • Conduct first-article inspections on assemblies and tooling.
  • Support internal and external quality and regulatory audits.
  • Review technical documents to understand inspection requirements.
  • Maintain inspection records and write detailed reports.
  • Recommend actions to resolve recurring inspection issues.
  • Coordinate with the broader quality team as needed.
  • Perform other quality-related tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aviation preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Background in aircraft or component maintenance is essential.
  • Experience with aircraft seating or fabric work is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Part 145 / CAR 145 / FAA 145 regulations.
  • Internal auditor training is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams.
