Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for thoroughly examining and testing parts/products to ensure they meet established quality standards, identifying defects, reporting issues to relevant teams, and guaranteeing that only high-quality products are shipped to customers, adhering to internal company procedures.

The Quality Inspector will be based in Emerson Dubai, UAE. This role is primarily office-based.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Incoming inspection of parts and components as per Rosemount parts inspection plan and customer-approved drawings.
  • Initiation of material review.
  • Manage processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming material.
  • Analyze root causes of issues with suppliers.
  • Verify intercompany component part quality upon return from the floor and report on inbound quality.
  • Analyze external supplier parts to understand parts and process failures.
  • Support SPE on inspection for direct sourcing processes.
  • Participate actively in process improvement teams.
  • Perform in-house calibration verification of instruments using master instruments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of all inspection tools, including selecting calibration service providers and requirements.
  • Conduct project inspections at hubs and supplier sites as per inspection plans.
  • Support the CC team in closing customer comments on inspections.
  • Participate in revising quality-related procedures.
  • Update metrology and equipment calibration processes.
  • Manage product holds and NC (non-conformances).
  • Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environment policies.

For this Role You Will Need:
  • Technical diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Knowledge of ASTM/ASME standards.
  • ISO 9001 knowledge.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical parts inspection.
  • Knowledge of Rosemount products.
