Job summary

Gypsemna Company LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Quality Control/Process Control Laboratory Technician to perform routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished gypsum board products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

You will follow approved methods, record results, report deviations, maintain the QC lab in a safe and clean state, and comply with QMS, EHSMS and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Conduct routine physical and chemical laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per approved standards and procedures.
• Inspect in-process and finished gypsum board products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Follow approved test methods, formulas, specifications, and laboratory procedures accurately.
• Record and maintain test results in logbooks, worksheets, and computer-based systems accurately and on time.
• Identify and report any quality deviations or non-conformities to the concerned supervisor and production team.
• Ensure the QC laboratory and inspection area are maintained in a safe, clean, organized, and environmentally responsible manner.
• Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), EHSMS requirements, and ISO 9001 standards applicable to the role.
• Ensure all inspection and testing activities are carried out in accordance with approved company procedures and applicable standards
