Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Quality Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position is responsible for coordinating the development, maintenance, and execution of Quality compliance programs at the EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi facility. The role involves facilitating the implementation of new Quality programs within the Middle East region and reporting on compliance with existing programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Quality Management processes in compliance with all requirements.
- Ensure the company delivers consistent and profitable growth through application and continuous improvement.
- Provide QA/QC support to ensure the maintenance of the Quality Management System and adherence to the Quality Policy.
- Perform daily QC activities in the workshop and provide technical assistance on-site.
- Manage equipment calibration, maintain calibration records, and coordinate in-house calibration activities.
- Oversee workshop inspection activities alongside Quality & Production Engineers.
- Review quality documents, procedures, drawings, and final documentation, and issue Certificates of Conformance/Compliance.
- Follow Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
- Support inspection teams with repair/rework recommendations for rotating equipment.
- Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support NDE processes such as RT, UT, MPT, PT, PMI as applicable.
- Prepare activity reports including NDE, HVOF, Laser Cladding, Balancing, and Inspection Reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external HSSE regulations.
- Initiate actions to minimize nonconformities.
- Maintain API standards and specifications related to product quality.

Experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Hands-on experience with API 687, 612, and 617 standards.
- Ability to conduct various inspections: Dimensional, Visual, ERO, NDE.
- Understanding of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, and pumps.
- Experience in preparing inspection reports.
- Knowledge of turbines, pumps, and rotating equipment (desirable).
- Understanding of inspection and NDT procedures.
- Knowledge of welding technology (desirable).
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education Requirements
- Industrial diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
- NDT Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an oil and gas mechanical/workshop environment.
- Product knowledge/exposure to rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, gearboxes, fans.
