Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Quality Improvement and Patient Safety professional to implement and monitor the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan across the hospital, developing programs to review patient care outcomes and presenting results to leadership. You will collaborate with clinical and IT teams to advance data collection and reporting systems.

Responsibilities include developing tools for performance metrics, monitoring core measures, guiding policies and education

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement.
• Knowledge of data management and quality improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program.
• Develop data collection tools for key performance measures.
• Review IT infrastructure to support hospital-wide data reporting.
• Ensure department leaders comply with data collection, analysis, reporting and action.
• Create data display and reporting formats for hospital-wide data management.
• Ensure timely data collection and distribution of progress reports.
• Monitor core measures including JCIA Library measures.
• Develop and monitor hospital policies and programs.
• Guide clinical practice guidelines and order sets.
• Create education programs on data analysis and performance improvement.
• Analyze areas for improvement and recommend process changes.
• Manage performance improvement projects and milestones.
