Job summary

SBS is seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to safeguard the quality, reliability and performance of our Digital Banking Platform. You will be part of an Agile, cross-functional team with software engineers, product owners and DevOps professionals.

You’ll help design test strategies, develop automation, analyze risks, and continuously improve product quality and engineering processes. You will work across web, mobile and backend services using modern tooling and collaborate to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience developing automated tests using Java, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of API testing and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in story refinement to identify quality risks and clarify requirements.
• Design test strategies balancing unit, component, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for web, mobile and backend services.
• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing where automation isn't suitable.
• Investigate defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback.
• Validate functionality, integrations, analytics and business workflows across platforms.
• Support releases with regression and production verification.
• Identify opportunities to improve testability, frameworks and processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and testing.
