Job summary

D4 Insight is seeking experienced QA Software Engineers to design and implement testing strategies for digital banking applications, APIs, microservices, and web/mobile channels.

You will develop automated test suites, perform comprehensive testing across functional, integration, and end-to-end layers, and collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years testing enterprise applications and APIs.
• Strong experience in Manual, API, Integration, and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SoapUI, and API validation tools.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in BDD/SDD practices using Gherkin and Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for digital banking applications and APIs.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, API, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage and release quality.
• Validate REST APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, and backend services.
