A manufacturing company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to maintain high product quality and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include developing quality control systems, performing inspections, and training staff. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree and have at least 4 years of experience in quality roles. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet established quality standards through effective inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. The role requires close coordination with production, procurement, and design teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
· Perform in-process and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
· Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
· Monitor and report quality performance metrics; recommend improvements based on trends and analysis.
· Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and other quality documentation.
· Coordinate third-party inspections, audits, and customer quality visits.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards and customer requirements.
· Train and support production staff on quality procedures and product standards.
· Participate in internal and external quality audits.
· Conduct painting inspection.
· Prepare and Conduct Process Audits.
· Maintain documentation for the IMS.
· Track and implement defect control method.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
· Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality role, preferably in [fabrication/manufacturing/oil & gas, etc.].
· Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems.
· Familiarity with NDT methods, welding inspection, and material specifications is a plus.
· Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation tools.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Certifications like BGAS-CSWIP certification, or ISO internal auditor are advantageous.
