Quality Director - SKMC - Quality Management Office

The Quality Director is responsible for planning, administering, and monitoring all quality management and improvement processes in partnership with the facility's leadership. They oversee efforts to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards and lead the development and measurement of the facility's quality and performance improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

Required: 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry, including at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles within a large organization.
Desired: Experience in a large healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and oversee a comprehensive quality improvement program aligned with organizational goals, laws, and accreditation standards.
  2. Regularly review and update the quality improvement program to reflect changing needs and regulations.
  3. Coordinate quality initiatives with facility leadership and oversee data collection and analysis processes.
  4. Develop systems for performance measurement, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and report findings to the board.
  5. Analyze customer survey data to identify improvement areas and lead performance innovation efforts.
  6. Provide strategic oversight of quality activities, ensuring services meet established standards.
  7. Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance.
  8. Contribute to departmental budgeting related to quality initiatives.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies involved in quality improvement.
  10. Educate and train staff and leadership on quality initiatives and responsibilities.
  11. Communicate quality and safety activities regularly to medical staff and engage them in initiatives.
  12. Review and evaluate services impacted by quality and safety issues, recommending improvements.
  13. Lead and facilitate internal quality teams and streamline processes.
  14. Manage team performance, conduct evaluations, and oversee training needs.
  15. Provide practical training in conflict resolution, employment law, performance management, etc.
  16. Participate as an expert in quality and safety in various committees and task forces.
