What You'll Do:

Job Purpose

Ensure the quality of workshop processes in line with Volkswagen dealer standards. Responsible for implementing and executing internal warranty audits monthly, and managing quality management systems.

Accountabilities

Quality Control

• Document repairs accurately, ensuring correct labour operations and parts usage, and proper clocking.
• Implement and adhere to all quality processes, ensuring detailed documentation in DMS, PIWIS/PQIS, and repair files.
• Coordinate quality control on completed jobs post-mechanic/electrician work and before vehicle collection.
• Verify technician reports match customer complaints and are legible.
• Ensure repair documentation is complete and correct, using check sheets, PQIS, PRMS reports, service book stamps, etc.
• Conduct random inspections of finished vehicles for damages and cleanliness.
• Perform random inspections during work in progress.
• Liaise with technicians, foremen, and team leaders regarding quality issues and report to management.
• Follow the defined job task list.

Internal Audit

• Investigate and report on customer complaints related to repeat repairs.
• Identify trends and training needs; coordinate with training departments for appropriate training.
• Submit weekly reports on repair quality, repeat repairs, and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular warranty self-audits for process compliance.
• Review after-sales processes periodically against best practices.
• Hold regular meetings with team leaders to discuss process improvements and cost savings.
• Report on product failures and repeat repairs.
