Job Description

A Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, verifying workmanship, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and materials. Key responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Perform quality inspections on civil and finishing works, including concrete, masonry, flooring, painting, ceilings, and other interior and exterior finishes.
  • Ensure work aligns with project specifications, industry standards, and approved drawings.
  • Conduct material inspections and verify compliance with approved submittals.
  • Identify non-conformities, issue reports, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
  • Maintain quality records and prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QC for civil and finishing works, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, codes, and inspection procedures.
  • Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
  • Experience working with tier 1 construction companies or large-scale projects is preferred.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in reporting and coordination.
  • Strong ability to assess and interpret information.
