Job Description

  • Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and quality control measures.
  • Develop and implement sanitation protocols, ensuring that all staff are trained and adhere to personal hygiene practices.
  • Monitor and document food safety practices, including temperature controls and storage conditions, to prevent contamination.
  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions for any deviations from standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that quality metrics are met and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Perform microbiological testing and other laboratory analyses to verify product safety and quality.
  • Lead training sessions on personal hygiene and food safety for new and existing employees.
  • Investigate incidents of non-compliance or quality failures, documenting findings and implementing improvement plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, training, and compliance reports for regulatory review.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in quality control and hygiene protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in HACCP or ISO standards is highly desirable to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is an advantage, showcasing leadership in quality assurance environments.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is a plus for diverse workplaces.
