Job Description
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and quality control measures.
- Develop and implement sanitation protocols, ensuring that all staff are trained and adhere to personal hygiene practices.
- Monitor and document food safety practices, including temperature controls and storage conditions, to prevent contamination.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions for any deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure that quality metrics are met and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform microbiological testing and other laboratory analyses to verify product safety and quality.
- Lead training sessions on personal hygiene and food safety for new and existing employees.
- Investigate incidents of non-compliance or quality failures, documenting findings and implementing improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, training, and compliance reports for regulatory review.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in quality control and hygiene protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in HACCP or ISO standards is highly desirable to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is an advantage, showcasing leadership in quality assurance environments.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is a plus for diverse workplaces.
- Excellent communication skills to train staff on hygiene practices and quality expectations.
- Ability to work on-site in various environmental conditions, including cold storage facilities.
