Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to oversee onsite inspections, snagging, and training activities, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction quality control, and the ability to manage teams and coordinate inspections effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing construction projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform snagging and final inspections, identifying and addressing defects or non-conformities.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and lead training programs for onsite teams to ensure proper quality control practices.
• Monitor the implementation of quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all construction materials and workmanship meets specified quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality concerns and provide solutions.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, defects, and corrective actions.
• Report any quality issues to senior management and recommend improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in quality control tools and software.
