Create and implement SOP for quality control procedures and standards for VIVA.
Establish industry benchmarking by evaluating other business performance to gauge the success and expansion of the organization.
Keep abreast of market developments, laws, and recommended procedures pertaining to the safety and quality of food.
Manage internal and external audits and certifications for VIVA warehouse and stores, ensuring compliance with industry legislation, safety standards, and corporate policies.
Closely collaborate with suppliers to guarantee that goods fulfill the necessary quality standards. Manage sample product testing and inspection to identify any flaws or problems related to industry norms.
Investigate any current product quality problems, product recalls in accordance with local laws, and conduct root cause analyses before implementing corrective and preventive measures to resolve these issues.
Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality in a timely and effective manner.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
Provide guidance, support, and required training to stakeholders on quality-related matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment, to understand production challenges.
