Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement SOP for quality control procedures and standards for VIVA.
- Establish industry benchmarking by evaluating other business performance to gauge the success and expansion of the organization.
- Keep abreast of market developments, laws, and recommended procedures pertaining to the safety and quality of food.
- Manage internal and external audits and certifications for VIVA warehouse and stores, ensuring compliance with industry legislation, safety standards, and corporate policies.
- Closely collaborate with suppliers to guarantee that goods fulfill the necessary quality standards. Manage sample product testing and inspection to identify any flaws or problems related to industry norms.
- Investigate any current product quality problems, product recalls in accordance with local laws, and conduct root cause analyses before implementing corrective and preventive measures to resolve these issues.
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance, support, and required training to stakeholders on quality-related matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment, to understand production challenges.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire a team towards achieving quality objectives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for maintaining high standards in all aspects of work.
