Responsibilities

Directing & supervising QC function in a smooth and efficient manner.

Evaluating to ensure that the products meet quality, integrity, functionality and other specifications as well as requirements

Developing and implementing quality standard testing and evaluation processes.

Reviewing quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.

Ensuring minimum turn-around time of Jewellery pieces.

Staying up-to-date on the latest technology and developments in the industry.

Visiting regularly to the shops for screening all diamond Jewellery & overview weights, tags, and other quality issues.

Coordinating with workshop and rectify quality problems with minimum time consumption.

Performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.

Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.

Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.

10+ years of related experience required with at least five years as a quality engineer or similar role highly preferred.
